this college has got major problem with its location but guys this this is not a big deal.
since the college is new, there are certainly some problems regarding faculty but let me tell u one thing at this level u cant rely on teachers
just go for it,afterall it is a gov college..........
i wanted to know more about college ,what r your views about it,where do u think this college would be 4 yrs down the lane?should i prefer GEC over MSIT? plz tell me .
first of all i am a student of GEC got 239th (i had opportunity to opt vidyapeeth bt i preferred govt over private my mistake...) rank in LEET i came to this college in 2008, what i observed here is that if you looking for Civil and Environment U you must come to this college since i am in IT branch i want to request you plz plz plz plz plz dont look for GEC. I.T. is treated as orphan in this college cz dean & principal belongs to Civil and it is written below the college name (Specialized in Civil & environment)
secondly you can hope we will hav a good Govt. college in the name of GEC but it takes 4 to 6 years.....
As far as IT is concerned in your college don't feel bad now. Try to find the best in whatever your college can provide you. BTW thanks a lot for this information.

No one can tell you what will happen to that college after 4 years. Anything can happen, for example ASET was number 1 till few years back. Now it is down.

i think we should prefer STREAM instead of college because
COLLEGE IS FOR 4 YEARS BUT STREAM IS FOR LIFETIME
Right, but in some cases college should be considered.
