my rank in ip 2009 is 18879............and I belong to the sikh minority...................will I get admission in ECE.............moreover, wat is d procedure of getting in d sikh minority
also, my rank in UPTU is 29234 ...............wat shud I choose between IP and UPTU????
What is the counselling schedule for the students under sikh quota?Please reply on the earliest....PLEASE...........

is minority quota only available for delhi students or even students residing outside delhi can apply under sikh minority quota

Last year cutoff for GURU TEGH BAHADUR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY was 24437. You will surely get admission. What stream are you looking for.

my rank inip cet 2010 is 30082
i'm a sikh
I am a sikh and got a rank 2705, so i wont need the sikh quota.
Anyways, you will easily get GTBIT ECE in this rank, maybe in 2nd counselling. With Sikh minority there is only one college in IP and that is GTBIT. The cutoffs are (appx.) :
CSE = 15,000
IT=24,000
ECE = 19,000
You wil need to make a minority certificate frm a sri rakab-ganj sahib gurudwara. Dont forget to wear a turban and do take ur marksheet, etc.
And yes, IP is quite better than UPTU...according to me.
And GTBIT is a good college of IP..... comes in middle of ranking list.
There is no management quota in GTBIT.
General category cutoffs are about 5000 - 6000.
