I have scored CET-1783,which college and which branch I can expect the most in first & second round.I am more intrested in computer science.
I am in otside delhi region.
I have got 1063 rank in b.tech(Leet) and i am outside Delhi region, gen category. i want to get admission in Mechanical Engineering tell me that what is good college for me in 2nd counseling.
SIR MY RANK IS 1390, I HAVE STUDIED IN DELHI DIPLOMA, BUT MY CATOGARY IS OBC,AND MY DOMICILE IS U.P....SO SIR I AM NOT CONFIRMED BY COUNSELLING PERFORMA THAT WHEN IS MY COUNDELLING DATE...PLS TELL ME.....
I got 9113 rank in CET-2011. I belong to Gen Delhi retd defence personnel category .
Which are the best colleges I can get?
I want ECE and Mech engineering.
I have got 1344 rank in CET 2011. I guess i'll clear into MAIT easily for CSE. But I wanna ask if I will get CSE in USIT in 2nd round or not? If not, then is MAIT a good enough college to surrender chances of getting colleges of UPTECH where I scored a rank of 4124.
PS: I belong to Delhi General.
1803 is a good rank.
You may get admission in BVP, MAIT, MSIT, AIT with such a rank in C.S.E. and E.C.E.
The best college is U.S.I.T. But the cutoff rank is very low for USIT. So you might not get admission in it.
But the rest of the colleges i mentioned above are quite good enough specially the first 3.
Sir, my ipu-cet rank is 1398............and i am interested in taking admission in USIT or MAIT..........Now for USIT we are required to bring a DD of Rs. 48000 and for MAIT it is Rs.53000.........I may or may not get admission in usit but in mait it is sure that i will get admission...........so now my query is that on the day of counselling i should bring a draft of Rs. 48000 or Rs. 53000???????????
My counselling date is 29 july so reply is reqd before 28 july at least........
what are d documents required for d counselling??? what d draft thng is ol about,,,,,m confused...nt getting a single word.....can anybody help me out.plzz

instead of writing "guru gobind singh indraprastha university",,the bank people wrote "ggsipu" in the 'payable at' column..i hope it doesnt cause a problem..i dont want to take any risk..should i cancel the drafts and make new ones or these wont cause any problem??

i think getting into usit at 1400 is a bit difficult, u can surely try out bvp and all..
but if u get anything in usit, prefer it above any other colg/branch in ip
is USIT better than BVP. i have obtained 1716(OD GEN) which is the best college for doing COMPUTER SCIENCE and also for doing ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS. REPLY SOOON

sir i've 1280 rank in CET2010 ,LE(lateral entry) to b.tech category and i m from delhi ,gen ,intrested in ECE stream ,but i would like to know my chances of getting ECE in any of the college of IP.

i hv seen igit campus and it sucks big time, talking about placements, they are okaish
on the other hand, hbti, its known, and surely comes in top 30-40 rank of colleges, so better to go into hbti, bcos colege's rank does count.
but if u have exceptionalyy good interest in cs ece, u can surely go to igit, bcos, nothings gr8r than interst

Chances are very low at this rank for usit even in 2nd counselling .
Yeah MAIT and BVP MSIT all three are good colleges after USIT .
If u r getting admission in top clgs of UPTU lyk HBIT then go for it else IPU is much better than uptu.

My stream preference is CSE/IT.
For usit u have 50-50 chance but u can get admission in all other colleges :)

You can ,But chances are very low for good colleges.

I am interested in doing engg. in ECE ( 1st priority ) or CSE.
What should my preference sheet look like?

I got a similar rank in CET last to last year.
USIT and USCT are too tough to get at this rank.
My preference sheet was something like this-
1) BVP
2) MAIT
3) MSIT
I would also advice you to take CSE instead of ECE as it is easier as well as has more scope.
