I'm Gagandeep,i've got 564 Rank in CET for B.Tech (L.E) this year. Just want your advise that as m a sikh minority catagory holder, n if i consider my rank people suggests me that i don't need to attend the Minority councelling, M seeking admission in MSIT (CSE/ IT).
Need your expert suggestion that should i try for the minority councelling, which assures me a seat in GTBIT, but i need MSIT. So, do i have strong chances of getting seat in MSIT. Or if don't get MSIT in GEN councelling then will i get seat in GTBIT in GEN catagory with this rank.

too many questions you have asked, and here go the answers-
BVP and MAIT are equally good but i would prefer MAIT as it doesn't have many issues as BVP does.(I'm from BVP, hence i know :) )
Secondly, anything in USIT will be better than MAIT.
So , even if you get ECE in USIT, I advice you to take it immediately.
Don't keep your hopes for USIT high in the 1st counseling though.
You might get it in the 2nd counseling.
MAIT is far away as compared to BVP which is near to a metro station...
i.e. why my parents want me to go to BVP.
Are there any other issues with BVP except the 'deafiliation' ???
Can BVP be deafiliated in between the span of 4 years and what will be the repurcussions..??

Unlike IIT, GGSIPU doesn't allow candidates to take the question papers with themselves. So not possible to get those. You can only get some hints from those who took that test last year.

I got rank 696(btech) and i wanted to ask if i could get ECE or CSE in USIT, in any counselling(1st or 2nd).
Is ECE in USIT better than CSE in MAIT.
Please also tell me which college is better MAIT or BVP.

CET 2011 Rank is 702. Can I get CSE in USIT?

702 is quite a good rank in CET, but not good enough for CSE in USIT.
There are very few chances of getting even IT in USIT.
But you can get USCT easily or colleges like BVP,MAIT,MSIT with this rank.
So no need to worry! :)
