Prateek a student of GGSIP University has made some beautiful sketches. Check out his album and post your comments and views on his work. It is amazing to see how sketches can be made that look so much like the real pictures. It requires patience and lots of practice to achieve something like this.

Lindsay Lohan - She looks better in this sketch

Lord of the rings

It is difficult to differentiate this sketches from actual pictures, this liveliness in the sketches is achieved by using variation of shades that adds depth to the picture. To see more sketches check out his gallery. I wish Prateek all the best for future and I hope he takes up to a new level.

Truly amazing work!

hi...

first try getting the form right.....till u get it rigt dont start the "filling in" work....

....after getting the form right....start the filling in work...u might want to work on smaller areas at a time, rather than the whole drawing at once....

try using .5 mm mechanical pencil and make the pencil strokes as close to each other as possible....
then if required smudge them and blend them with a tissue paper.......

one more important thing is that there are no hard lines in human figure,so blend the tonal variations......

go absolute dark where it is required, becuase it is the contrast that makes the drawing alive...

hope this helps..........if any more questions ,then just ask,i will be glad to elaborate...
