wen it is clearly mention in their prospectus that 15% reservation is 4 oobc in university schools and govt institutions then y dont they have any seats for obcs in usms and bhai parmanand.......this university is crap....bv

In the year 2010 I got admission in B.tech in MDU. After 1st semester I drop the course. Now I want to get admission in IPU. I have qualified and got 6066 rank and want to start the course afresh. What formalities I have to complete. Is there any need of submitting Migration certificate.

dude take a drop if u feel comfortable bcoz at this rank u may get something but next yr u ill surely get smthng better. or may even get it to iits

yaar is baar too ip valo nae hadh hi kar di hai , they r delaying the counsellin of general categary every next day, har dusrae din kae baad ek nayi date datae hain , i dont got the idea of commening an extended counsellin 4 reserved categories when they are commening their 2nd counsellin within a four day time ,they could hve easily call them in the 2nd counsellin >>>itss gettin 2 late this year 4 general category , aur uppar sae classes bhi 16 sae hi start karva di hain ab jo loog 2nd counsellin sae admission laengae they hve too suffer a great loss in their studies , i dont know what they are trying to do dis year >>> its too much frustratin for persons like us who r waitin 4 the 2nd counsellin of general category ><>>
lucky you are 200% right. i am mohit dabas and i am a outside delhi gneral candidate ,my rank is 5897 my rank is not very good but it is good enough to get admission..but still i am waiting for more than 2 months . i was thinking about making a drop out before the ip result...but now i cannot make a drop out ... i am still in dilemma "will i get a admn?
moreover 99% college of india has been started... in the end if i get admn or not i have to pay the price?
Yea Mohit, I do Agree to u .. my rank is 15000.. i knw its not that gud.. but Its gud enuff for admision in a decent college.. but u knw.. RESERVATION SUCKS!!! And on top of it.. some Messed up IP system.. even iam in a dilemma... :-/ but i cant take a drop nw.. since am already a dropout now.. but my suggestion to u is dont depend on ip.. take admm else whr if u can get... (just so that u have sm option leftout if u dnt hav any seat left over here)
it seems like ip university does not care about GENERAL category.. ip colleges are only made for SC ,ST AND OTHER CASTES .. DONT BELEIVE IT SEE FIRST COUNCSELLING FOR SC/ST WAS UPTO 40000 ONWARDS.. SECOND COUNCELLING WAS STARTED FOR THEM FIRST ,BUT FOR GENERAL CATEGORY THEY ARE DELAYING THE DATE THE VERY NEXT DAY .. ONE DAY THIS QUOTA SYSTEM WILL DESTROY OUR WHOLE COUNTRY AND IT'S EDUCATIONAL VALUE .. THEN THEY WILL REALIZE...

seems pretty much difficult in obc category. even yaar mine rank is 9800. still i m in trouble whether i will get admissionin ipu or not.
by the way the schedule of second counselling will be uploaded on near about 25 aug. so probably gonna start from 26 to 28.

My rank in btech ipu cet 2010 is 8500 ODGEN and i have seen lst yrs cut offs so according to tht im getting IT in BPIT, NIEC,Ansals ,CSE in amity,hmr,GPMIC.....Bt u must be knowing tht ODGEN seats got filled at 4734 only....is something wrong this yr????I know Only 2 colleges are nt in 1st counseling tht is MAIT n ASET so it doesn't mean tht cut off will fall by this much amount.....So now i'll nt get anything????even HMR too???plzz help me wht to do im in gr8 trouble bcoz i was dependent on IPU only n nw its nt a time to take drop also its too late...

dear sir,
I think ur rank-o-meter has given wrong prediction regarding the cut-offs....coz there is minimum of 3000-4000 rank difference in each and every program/institution..
irfan let me tell u one thing rank o meter is nt at all wrong those cut offs are 100% right and are of final list tht is the list which is made after completion of 2nd counseling....
vinod sir,my rank is 5601(obc).i just want to know that if i take admn under obc category in 1st counselling the can i change it to gen in teh second one?
