Seven Art Limited Gallery presents "Recycled Identities" solo exhibition of sculptures by Khalil Chishtee

Event Details : Seven Art Limited Gallery in association with Select CITYWALK, Saket present Recycled Identities, the solo exhibition of Khalil Chishtee. This is an exclusive showcasing of international artist Khalil Chishtee by Seven Art Limited in collaboration with Select CITYWALK under the Select CITYART initiative, a new program which supports established and upcoming artists.The exhibition is the first display of celebrated artist Khalil Chishtee’s work in India.
Khalil Chishtee (b. 1964) has an aversion to socio-geopolitical labels, which in his opinion define and divide humanity, harvest differences and foster violence. Thus this North America based artist of Pakistani origin prefers to be seen as a man of the world. His sculptures represent this view: that humanity is tormented by its compulsive need to categorize and differentiate along any number of physical, cultural, political and economic factors, ignoring the obvious common denominator of our human-ness that makes us alike.
