INNOVISION 09-10

Innovision, the annual technical-cum-managerial fest of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology promises to me much more than another college symposium. For the three days, NSIT campus turns into a warzone for thousands of students, representing close to 300 colleges, all competing in a plethora of events for the glory, and the booty that comes with it.

Robots have not just walked, they have battled each other during the past editions of Innovision. Machines haven't just followed lines, but made their way through gruelling mazes. We celebrate the spirit of human knowledge and wisdom.

And every year, Innovision just keeps getting better, because we just won't have it any other way! From 29th to 31st January, Innovision '09-'10 will provide an opportunity to each and everyone to prove their mettle to the rest of the world. An occasion that intends to blur the line seperating a technical event and a campus gala, giving you the best of both worlds.

Software, Electronics, Mechanical and Instrumentation, Biotechnology, Managerial and Literary events will continue to headline the fields of competition on offer, while “School Bag”, an event that began in 2008, will once again offer school students the chance showcase their talent at a young age.
There are a host of online events too like Enigmata, Bodmas.and digital fortress. Enigmata will challenge your power of deduction with intriguing puzzles that would leave you scratching your head..... Bodmas is the place for mathematics affectionados.Digital fortress is for those who think that they know their computer in and out. Go beyond the monotonous programming and be a part of Digital Fortress which tests your skills in hacking . These events are for the creme-de-la-creme. The weak be warned: "You'll be swept aside by the best in the business with the minimum of fuss".

With Great prizesat stake, participants would also need to ensure their eyes are on the job ahead and not on the winnings on offer. Make the slightest of mistakes and you're gone. In the end, only the true champion would survive. Maybe that's why the top companies look forward each year to be associated with Innovision. Previous sponsors have included the likes of Microsoft, Google, Adobe, IBM, Lenovo, Sun Microsystems and Airtel amongst others.
Innovision has been diligently followed by the technical fraternity and aims to inculcate scientific and technical temper in the budding engineers of the nation. As for those thirsty for knowledge, we'll have a number of intellects host workshops to share with participants their gyan.

Workshops in Autonomous Robotics, Ethical Hacking, Virtual Instrumentation, Circuit Designing and Joomla Web Designing already lined up, and more should be added soon (keep an eye on the Official Innovision Website, www.inno.co.in, for the latest news). So we invite rookies and professionals alike to test their guts through treacherous chicanes, breakneck speed and cut throat competition to outperform one and all. Even the most demanding would be satisfied. Innovision is where the extraordinary is expected. They say lightning doesn't strike twice, but it's already struck seven times, and it's about to strike again.
