Cycle Rally on Feb27 at Delhi University by IGIT & DCC
A 10-km Cycle Rally is being organised by the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT) in collaboration with the Delhi Cycling Club (DCC) on Saturday, 27th February 2010 staring from Vishwavidhyalaya Metro Station at 08.00 AM.
The Cycle Rally will kick start IGIT’s annual college festival called XEBEC-2010 which is themed on ‘sustainability in engineering’. The 10-km rally begins at 8am at the Vishwavidhyalaya Metro Station, Delhi Univeristy, covering the university area and the Kamla Nehru Ridge. The rally would be attended by students across Delhi.
We have also seen and heard about the mega star Salman Khan cycling on the roads of Mumbai, not bothered about the traffic or the traffic jam that gets created in the bargain. Well, this time round, Salman was at it again but all done for a cause that's closer to Salman's heart than anyone and anything else: 'Being Human'.
So It would be great if you could find time to join them for the rally with your bicycles to put across message for need to go green. Also cycling together will be a great fun.
IGIT was established by Delhi Government in the year 1998 as the first woman Engineering College in India. It is affiliated with the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
