Master of Science (Environment Management)

The objective of two years intensive programme is to provide an integrated multidisciplinary study of a wide range of Environment related issues and their management. The programme conprises of comprehensive lectures on course and topics of current interest and importance, field and laboratory experiments and case studies of special interest related to Environmental Management programmes.

The mission of the programme is to build a pool of trained and dedicated professionals who can contribute to the development of policies, measures and programmes for environmental management.

• To establish working linkages with industry and undertake collaborative projects which offer long-term interaction opportunities with academia and industry.
• To conduct short-term courses related to various environmental issues.
• To foster environmental awareness and promote the principles and practices of sustainable development.

Eligibility

B.Sc. Degre or its equivalent with atleast 50%marks OR B.Sc.(engg) OR B.Tech or B.E. in civil/chemical/agricultural with atleast 50% marks
