Things to Avoid in Writing Resume

Most of time we know the things to write in resume but hardly have any idea about the things we need to avoid . As a Admin of many educational sites , i receive number of resume in a month and i see same mistake again and again . In this blog i would like to point out things to be avoided .

if u are not applying in appearance-based industry, it is rarely necessary to include a photograph.

Avoid excess personal information such as marital status, political beliefs and religious beliefs.

and if u are recent graduates, it is unwise to specify salary expectations.

and if u have early experience in industry then Include your duties, but don’t leave out your accomplishments. These are what set you apart from the crowd.

There are some people who want to put “everything” on their resume. Their philosophy is that if it isn’t on the resume then they will think I don’t have the experience.

Avoid gimmicks such as unusual fonts and layouts, Whatever you do make sure the spelling and grammar is accurate, as grammatical and spelling errors will often cause an employer to disregard your application immediately.

In addition to this always Use good paper and a good printer. If you don’t care how you look when you want a job, what will the employer think about how you will handle yourself once you have the job?
